The catastrophic floods damaged 168 government hospitals and incurred a total loss of Rs 120 crore to state health department, said health minister K K Shailaja. The estimated loss includes damages to hospital buildings (Rs 80 crore), equipment (Rs 10 crore), furniture (Rs 10 crore) and medicines (Rs 20 crore).
