As strict compliance with room quarantine has become the need of the hour, Thiruvananthapuram city corporation will launch ward level surveillance teams and five zonal surveillance teams in each ward. During March and April, the city corporation had mostly relied on its team of volunteers and ward-based system to monitor persons under room quarantine.
