The state reported the highest single-day spike of 3,830 Covid positive cases on Wednesday taking the total to 1,17,863. Among the new cases, 3,628 contracted the virus through local transmission while the sources are unknown in 350 cases. The list includes 49 returnees from abroad and 153 from other states.
