A study conducted by the health department points to lack of adequate PPE kits, improper use of masks, etc, as major reasons for healthcare workers (HCWs) contracting Covid-19 in the state. While around 70% of cases among HCWs had an identifiable contact, it remained inconclusive for the remaining 30%.
